District Comprehensive Primary Healthcare (CPHC) Strengthening Workshop

The District Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) Strengthening workshop was organized with the overarching goal of enriching participants’ comprehension of CPHC and its fundamental principles. The workshop sought to foster a consistent district-wide understanding of CPHC, shed light on the evolution of primary healthcare strategies throughout the years, and underscore the contemporary necessity for embracing a comprehensive approach. This training program encompassed several sessions, dedicated to exploring distinct aspects and components of CPHC, delving into the nuances of CPHC guidelines, dissecting the pivotal role of human resources in healthcare service delivery, the importance of data-driven decision-making, emphasizing the significance of community engagement and inter-sectoral collaboration, and the role of essential public health functions in achieving Comprehensive Primary Health Care. In addition to this comprehensive training, participants engaged in interactive workshops and practical exercises that encouraged them to apply their newfound knowledge in real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach further reinforced their ability to translate theory into effective action, ensuring that they were not only informed but also capable of driving tangible improvements in healthcare within their districts. Moreover, the workshop facilitated networking and knowledge-sharing among participants, fostering a supportive community of healthcare professionals committed to advancing CPHC principles in their respective regions.
