We are conducting an evaluation to examine the impacts of the coaching pilot intervention in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The overall objectives of the evaluation are to understanding whether the coaching intervention improved team performance effectiveness, how the intervention influenced HWC team processes and team performance effectiveness, and what worked and what didn’t in the intervention. The evaluation is designed as a pre-post assessment with small-group structured interviews conducted with HWC team members at baseline and endline in 20 intervention and 20 control facilities. In addition, qualitative in-depth interviews will be conducted at endline with HWC team members, coaches, and state and district representatives. The data collection is expected to be completed by September 2026. The results will provide evidence on the potential effectiveness of coaching interventions in similar contexts.
