IIPH-Gandhinagar hosted a two-day IPSI workshop at its campus on 7th and 8th June 2024. The purpose of the workshop was for all partners to present, discuss and develop the content for the team mentoring pilot in Bhavnagar.

The National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification is an important government initiative to improve and maintain quality standards at public sector health facilities in India.
IPSI aims to provide technical support to the Government of India’s Ayushman Bharat- Health and Wellness Center (HWC) program to improve coverage and quality of health services through evidence-based health systems strengthening.
IIPH- Shillong organized an NQAS training for its staff and IPSI district team on 10-12 June 2024 in Shillong, Meghalaya. The training was conducted by Dr. Ayan Roy, a national level NQAS assessor and expert.
IPSI project is providing support to the demonstration districts for improving NQAS certification. One of the strategies adopted for this includes cross-learning visits to other districts that have performed well in NQAS certification.
An annual retreat for IPSI project was held on 13th and 14th January 2024 at Delhi NCR. The main objective of this two days event was to take stock of the project journey so far and more importantly to plan the strategies needed to be adopted for next couple of years.
A workshop for HWC team mentoring was held on 8th and 9th April at Bhavnagar. The main objective of this two days event was to identify the competencies required by HWC team members to perform their functions effectively.
