Data pertaining to service delivery is routinely collected at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM). However, teams seldom analyze their data towards their performance improvement. The Systematic Use of Data for Health Action and Results (SUDHAR) Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) project under IPSI aims to identify barriers and demonstrate possible solutions to optimise the use of this data set for improving CPHC performance & achieving better health outcomes. The pilot seeks to achieve this through the following objectives –
- To co-create tools and process with teams to enable them to curate, analyse and use performance linked payment (PLP) & team-based incentive (TBI) data to improve performance. Design the toolkit for easy scale-up and replication across Bihar
- Build the capacity of the AAM teams to enable improvement in the team’s performance
- Assess and measure improvement in key result areas of CPHC through data driven management
