The Coaching Program in Tura, West Garo Hills, is an 8-month structured, evidence-based mentoring model in which PHC staff and district health authorities coach affiliated Health and Wellness Centres. Towards this a sensitization meeting was organized for the prospective coaches consisting of Medical Officers, AYUSH MO, Block Extension Educator belonging to the district. During this meeting, held on October 8th, the coaches were apprised on the details of the coaching program including its vision, goals, and operational model.
The sensitization was facilitated by Dr. Tiameren Jamir and Ms. Dolly Nongbet from IIPH-Shillong.
