Amit Sangma is a Bachelor of Arts with interests in Community Engagement and sports. He started his career as a Research Assistant in a Child and Nutrition Survey Project under UNICEF,followed by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan project on clean drinking water and sanitation. He then joined Kissan Network Pvt. Ltd. as a Field Assistant helping farmers sell their crops. IIPH Shillong journey started as a Field Investigator under CSCMI Project. Post this project, he worked with Gramin Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. as a Centre Manager. Grabbing an opportunity at IIPH Shillong again for the role of a Field Supervisor under the Meghalaya Health Systems Strengthening Project, Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and currently with India Primary Health Care Support Initiative as a District Project Manager.
