Dr Anish Sinha is currently working as Associate Professor & Registrar (I/c) at Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPHG). He has more than 2 decades of experience in the field of Public health. He has worked for World Health Organization from 2004-2016, as Surveillance Medical Officer, where he worked extensively for polio eradication, and Immunization in various parts of the country. He led the team for polio eradication, Measles campaign, new vaccine introduction, AEFI surveillance in the state of Gujarat and other parts of the country.

He then joined UNDP in 2016 and implemented Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) in Gujarat, for strengthening Immunization supply and cold chain system. He also facilitated eVIN implementation in Indonesia. He has an extensive experience of public health practice.

He has been a part of various research projects at IIPHG and contributed immensely towards the project activities. His areas of interest are Child health & Immunization, Health System Strengthening, Environment and Occupational Health.
