Dr Patro is a Public Health Physician with more than 20 years of experience of working at Academic and Research Organization of India. His areas of interest are Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases, Primary Health Care and Health Systems Strengthening. He has more than 150 research publications in national and international journals of repute. He has completed 19 research projects and 7 ongoing projects at the institution. His contribution to public health includes Capacity Building of Public Health Workforce at all levels, Teaching and Training of Undergraduate & Postgraduate Medical students, Techno-managerial interventions for the health system. Dr Patro is a fellow of Indian Public Health Association and Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine.
