Endrick N Sangma completed his Masters in Sociology with an internship on Socio-economics to understand and coordinate with the rural community. He started his career as an Enumerator for the 7th Socio-economic census and then moved as a Research Associate at IIMC under the project entitled “Developing Communication Strategy and Behaviour Change among the Indigenous Communities of Meghalaya”. In this role he was responsible for providing inputs in developing and implementing communication strategy and report writing, data analysis and visualisation, data cleaning etc. He has also worked as a Junior Consultant at MSSAT conducting social auditing on various schemes through evaluation and monitoring. At IIPH Shillong, he has worked as a Qualitative Research Assistant closely working with SHGs. Currently he is working as a field research officer for the India Primary Health Care Support Initiative project.
