Dr. Prajna Paramita Giri currently holds a steadfast dedication to medical education and the enhancement of public health. Dr. Giri possesses specialized expertise in research domains encompassing Tribal Health, Preventive Oncology, Nutrition, and Health System Strengthening projects. Presently, she is actively involved in three distinct projects at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. These projects involve delivering technical assistance and building the capacity of various stakeholders to enhance the utilization of health and nutrition services offered by the Government of Odisha, with a particular focus on the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) communities. Additionally, she is leading a project aimed at fortifying the infrastructure of Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in a tribal district of Odisha to facilitate the screening of specific cancers such as Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Oral Cancer. Noteworthy, over the past five years, she has contributed to the field with eight publications in these pertinent areas.
