He is the deputy director of the Regional Resource Hub, Health Technology Assessment in India (RRH-HTAIn) at the Indian Institute of Public Health Shillong. He is also a Visiting Faculty at the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU). He has an MBBS degree from Guwahati Medical College & Hospital and an MBA in Hospital & Health System Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), Hyderabad. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Medical and Health field with an interest in Emergency Medicine focused on Pre-Hospital care and Systems research.
